London Design Festival 2026

A citywide celebration of design.

London Design Festival 2026
September 2026
Across London

London Design Festival returns across the city in September 2026 — a citywide celebration of design spanning museums, galleries, showrooms and dedicated design districts, anchored by landmark installations and a programme that runs into the hundreds of events.

How it works

Rather than a single venue, LDF is a distributed festival: 'design districts' across London (from Brompton to Shoreditch) host their own trails, alongside the V&A as the festival's traditional hub and a series of headline commissions. It sits in the same September window as London Fashion Week, making the month a peak for the city's creative industries.

The London BGTC Society's view

For our members, LDF is a magnet for designers, brands, architects and collectors — and a showcase of why London remains one of the world's design capitals. It rewards planning a route across a few districts rather than chasing a single show.
