Tell London BGTC Society about your event

An exhibition, a concert, a reading, a talk, a screening or a launch in London: tell us about it. We write about what is happening in the city and pass it on to our members and readers. Organisers who would like the Society's support for an event are welcome to ask.

A gallery in the East End, a hall on the South Bank or a bookshop in Bloomsbury: London is large, so the address matters as much as the date.

One event in London

Send the date, the venue, a booking link and two sentences about what people will see or hear. Three to six weeks ahead is best; a week ahead is often too late.

A tour or a series

If London is one stop of a music tour, a book tour or a run of exhibitions, say so and list the other cities and dates. You write once: we pass it to the Societies in the other cities on your route.

Building an audience here

Planning a first show in London, or a season of work here? Tell us what you do and when you will be in the city. We will say plainly what we can do: a listing, a note to members, or an introduction to a venue or a host.

What helps us

  • The name of the event, the dates and the times.
  • The venue with its address, and whether entry is free or ticketed.
  • One link where people can book or read more.
  • One image you have the right to share, with a credit. You can send it by email after we reply.
  • Who is organising it and how to reach you.

There is no charge for telling us about an event or for a listing. A person reads every message and we reply within two working days.

Other cities. The Societies work in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester and Oxford. If your plans include any of them, mention it in the form below.

Send us the details

We use what you send only to answer you and, if you agree, to write about the event. See the privacy policy.
